Every vehicle must have an MOT test on an annual basis; without one it will invalidate your car insurance and could potentially mean your vehicle is unroadworthy or even dangerous to drive. The MOT test ensures your car is roadworthy at the time of testing.
When we carry out an MOT test, a number of checks are made on the vehicle from lights and registration numbers to brakes and suspension – we need to be sure your vehicle is safe and roadworthy. Any item that is found to be defective will cause a failure and any item that is close to its legal limit will be an advisory. Your MOT tester will explain the impact of these actions and you will be given an opportunity to have any defect remedied either by your own mechanic or at our testing station.
